James Luckey-Lange has been spending a lot of time looking at the names he carved on a bar of soap he smuggled out of a Venezuelan prison in his underwear.

He was released from prison on parole in a wheelchair, after spending more than four years locked up in a jail he walked into — on crutches, but walking nonetheless. He was arrested days after conducting an interview.
